Looking to Be Part of the Solution for a Better World
Although I have been working on starting up my company for some time now, I still need to put food on the table and support myself financially. Social Security provides some relief, but it does not come close to covering the full spectrum of my climate justice advocacy work, personal learning, outreach, and community-building efforts.
Running a climate company in a country where denial is policy and fossil fuel expansion is celebrated is not a smooth road. Itās a bumpy, often bruising, trek up a mountainādragging the weight of truth while navigating widespread resistance. And yet, I do it. Every single day.
This post isnāt written to paint a picture of helplessnessābut rather one of honest urgency. I am still struggling to make ends meet. But I am not stopping. My workāour workāthrough Climate Change Community LLC, Climate Tribe, and our affiliate project spacesāremains unwavering.
Because I believe in something deeper: the mission of Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation,
especially as it relates to low-income communities, the underserved, the ignored, and the too-often forgotten.
š± A Message to Green-Grounded Governments, States, Towns or Villages
If you are in a Green-minded regionāa forward-thinking country, town, village, or universityāor if you represent a grassroots nonprofit focused on resilience and environmental justice, I hope youāll consider me as a candidate for employment or collaboration.
I come with:
ā
A decade of lived experience advocating for those impacted the most, particularly in under-resourced areas.
ā
Technical certifications including A+ and ADCS (Grandfathered), blending digital literacy with infrastructure knowledge.
ā
Original community-based tech ideasāincluding one that reimagines circular economies for neighborhoods.
ā
Completion of all required coursework to become a Certified Climate Change Professional Officer focused on Adaptive Resiliency by 2035. Iāve passed the trainingāI just need the funds to take the test.
ā
Climate trainings under my belt: Climate Reality, Climate Mobilization, and more.
Iām not asking for a handout.
Iām offering hands-on helpāto deliver real, people-led power and resilience strategies, especially to the neighborhoods most in need.

š The True Cost of Inaction
The science is clear. The stories from the frontlines are louder than ever.
Flooded basements. Burning forests. Skyrocketing heatwaves.
Yet stillāno meaningful transformation at scale.
Because far too often, the āsolutionsā are being discussed in conference halls while families are surviving from car trunks or collapsing rooftops.
Iām not asking for pity.
Iām offering ideas. Vision. Dedication. Ground-tested solutions.
Iāve already drafted initiatives like:
-
Urban Cooling Zones for public housing
-
Micro-grants for climate migrants
-
Neighborhood-based solar resilience networks
-
AI-powered āResilience Dashboardsā for real-time community response
-
Community flood maps and readiness tools, built with local data
But ideas need soil to grow in.
And that soil, in our world, is opportunity.
š” Why Me? Why Now?
š Because Iām not guessingāIām building
š” Because Iāve already lived the consequences of climate neglect
š Because our neighborhoods canāt afford to wait for boardroom philanthropy
If we want children in under-resourced communities to have a fighting chance beyond climate chaos, we must hire and uplift those already fightingāthose with mud on their boots and innovation in their bones.
Let me bring you real innovation from below the poverty line.
From the roots. From the soul. From the urgency of now.
