Climate Change Community LLC – Updated Terms-of-Service (June 2025)

Part 1: Guidelines & Required Behavior

Embracing Unity, Compassion, and Shared Responsibility in the Face of Crisis

“It is not the strongest of species that survive nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive to change.” — Charles Darwin

Welcome to the Climate Change Community (cCc), an evolving home for Self- and Collective-Preservation. These Terms-of-Service are not just formalities—they are a living agreement between those of us determined to respond to the worsening Climate Emergency and Ecological (Green) Emergency with courage, clarity, and care.

Respecting Diversity, Faith, and Lived Experience

We welcome people from all walks of life and all identities—including those who are grieving, confused, newly awakening, or long-time activists. Diversity is not a burden; it’s a source of wisdom. Disagreements are inevitable, but disrespect is not acceptable. Repeated violations of empathy-based engagement will result in dismissal.

Zero Tolerance for Discrimination

We affirm the right of every person to define their own gender identity, orientation, and pronouns. Disparagement, gaslighting, and boundary violations are grounds for immediate removal. We do not debate people’s humanity.

Compassion as Practice

The world is hurting. Our community exists because of that pain. We ask that every member approach conversation not as a competition, but as collaboration. Our tone must reflect a desire to grow, not a desire to dominate.

Part 2: Community Platform Policies – Privacy, Security, and Growth

Digital Safety in the Age of Collapse and Surveillance

“Change is not merely necessary to life—it is life.” — Alvin Toffler

Current Status (as of June 2025)

Climate Tribe—our flagship community platform—has completed its foundational phase and is now transitioning to member-driven growth. We currently host themed subscription spaces, live Zoom events, a digital bulletin (“Communiqués”), an AI-supported affiliate program, and a learning hub for Adaptive Resiliency, from the standpoint of both self and collective preservation.

Digital Safety and Green AI

We take your privacy and data rights seriously. We do not run hidden trackers, fingerprinting tools, or behavior-mining cookies. All third-party services are vetted for ethical use and minimized. AI tools, including Eva Garcia, are powered (or transitioning) to Green AI infrastructure wherever possible.

⚠️ We firmly believe it is hypocritical to address the Climate Emergency using fossil-fueled technologies. We advocate for the rise of Sustainable, Renewable-Powered AI.

Advertising Boundaries

Any advertising hosted by us is restricted to clearly marked sections. We do not allow invasive, manipulative, or dark-pattern ads. Advertisements must align with our mission of sustainability and social responsibility.

Part 3: MIND YOUR MANNERS — On Kindness, Collaboration, and Platform Culture

Building Emotional Intelligence in a Time of Social Fragmentation

“As you and I take Personal Responsibility for mending the things that are out of order… we would surely witness a transformed, developed, and civilized society.” — Sunday Adelaja

A Platform for Learning, Not Arguing

This community exists to support people in learning, connecting, grieving, planning, adapting, and dreaming. We are not here to host polarizing debates, nor to prove who’s “right.” Our guidelines favor curiosity, vulnerability, and collaborative solution-building, especially in the face of global emergencies.

We recognize that emotional intelligence—including how we speak, listen, and respond—is a critical skill for enduring this era of disinformation, ecological disruption, and collective anxiety. You are not required to have all the answers here. But you are required to treat others with respect, even if their path of learning looks different from yours.

Social Media Detox Zone

We deliberately slow things down. Our platform isn’t designed to provoke outrage or reward polarization. Our posts aren’t optimized for virality; they’re built for depth, healing, and long-haul conversation. This is a conscious departure from the algorithms that dominate TikTok, X, Facebook, or Instagram—because the Climate Emergency demands a different kind of attention.

Compassion Is Not Optional

Let us be clear: We prioritize kindness, model compassion, and require civility. In a world where hostility toward science—especially climate science—is growing louder and more dangerous, we proudly stand with those who defend evidence, logic, and ethics. This is not a neutral stance. Our commitment to truth, mutual care, and scientific responsibility is unwavering.

This community is also a space of refuge for those who’ve been ridiculed, silenced, or harmed for caring too deeply. If you are someone who believes in climate science, environmental justice, or self- and collective preservation—know that you are not alone here. You are respected.

DEI Is Part of Climate Justice

We uphold the principles of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) as essential—not optional—components of building a livable future. We are strongest when we reflect many voices, especially from those most affected by the Climate and Ecological Emergency: Indigenous peoples, Black and Brown communities, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, young people, elders, and those living in economic or geographic precarity.

Equity is not charity—it’s justice. Inclusion is not trend—it’s truth. Diversity is not distraction—it’s strength.

A Cultural Ethos of Care

  • We ask questions before making assumptions.

  • We listen before we challenge.

  • We reflect before we post.

  • We repair when we harm.

These are not rules of control; they are principles of regeneration. The climate crisis is also a crisis of culture, and we are committed to modeling a new one—one where compassion is not weakness but the greatest form of strength.

As our founder cCc says often:

“This is a space for people who care deeply. And that level of care deserves to be protected.”

Part 4: Membership, Removal, and Community Structure

Serious Spaces for Serious Times

“Let’s build a community that allows hard questions and honest conversations so we can stir up transformation in one another.” — Germany Kent

Membership Is a Responsibility

Our space is designed for deep learning, strategic action, and collective resilience. If you’re here, you’re expected to contribute in good faith.

Key Membership Principles:

  • Invitation or direct approval only. Most members join through Zoom meetings, referrals, or direct engagement with cCc or Eva Garcia.

  • No tolerance for drama, cruelty, or manipulation. This includes persistent badgering, false accusations, and spam.

  • We reserve the right to remove anyone. Discretion lies with community leadership. Public trust depends on internal integrity.

Addendum: Current Community Projects and Educational Goals (2025–2026)

1. The Green Affiliate Program

Members can now earn income by helping grow the community—every referral strengthens our shared mission.

2. Financial Assistance Fund

A member-sustained subscription program is being tested to provide aid to those in economic hardship.

3. AI Education & Oversight

Eva Garcia, our AI Assistant, is helping members learn how to use AI ethically, safely, and for planetary benefit. We advocate for transparent, renewable-powered AI.

4. Book Club + Resiliency E-Book

We are collaboratively writing a free educational resource on Adaptive Resiliency using curated quotes, lived stories, and community insight.

5. Green Tech Cafe

Our private tech space supports members with cybersecurity, anti-surveillance tools (e.g., Tails, Qubes OS), and climate-related digital security training.

6. Emotional & Mental Health Group

Biweekly calls to listen deeply, practice the “Art of Listening,” and share mutual support in a time of grief, rage, and adaptation.

7. Elder & Culture Circle

A new group for older members exploring dance, percussion, conversation, health, and tradition as forms of cultural preservation and joy.

Final Note from cCc (Founder)

We are no longer simply building a climate platform—we are building an ark. Not of wood or myth, but of wisdom, emotional maturity, collaboration, and non-fossil-fueled intelligence.

Please take our Terms-of-Service as a living agreement. They will evolve—just like the Earth itself. And just like you and me.

If you wish to join us, write directly to cCc@ourclimatehealth.com. We are strict about membership, but warmly open to true participants. This is not a spectator sport. The Earth is calling.
