Hi grandpa and abuela, I hope everything is well. Nice to visit you through the internet again. I wanted to tell you something about an idea I had but it is no rush. Maybe mom, dad, a neighbor or friend can help you with this. I would feel better if you can do this and I will feel more secure about your well-being.

OK, first it involved clearing a shelf somewhere or getting one of those large container bins they sell down at Wilbur’s Hardware. It would help to get a small box also. I know we are all struggling with money so I am saving to help you buy everything, just don’t tell mom because she is having a tough time to making ends meet.
my idea is this:
Ok, then between now and December 2019 save on that shelf or bin thirty days worth of canned foods. I have two cans for you already. The reason why is that if the weather gets really bad and we cannot come to you right away you will have enough food to last until we can come to you. Call the bin or shelf your climate change bin if you want.
Then in the box put candles, batteries, an unopened flashlight and a small first aid kit. Also, maybe an extra can opener (I have mom’s old one for you already). Now I will feel better if you had this because even if I have to come to you myself I will have plenty of time to get to you.
grandpa and abuela I love you so much…
If anything happened to you I will be sad all my life. Do not tell mom and dad but every time I go shopping with mom I make her buy an extra can of something and I have a hiding place already for my 30 days supply. I also am saving to get an extra flashlight. We already have batteries and a first aid kit. I gotta go mom is going to the store (another can). Call you Sunday. Love you guys.
