The Privacy Policy and Terms of Service will henceforth only be accessible upon acceptance of a membership subscription (level). These documents are undergoing updates to cater to existing members and new subscribers joining our platform.
In addition, we are currently refining the styling and enriching the content with resilience and adaptability-related materials. Concurrently, we are actively engaging in a comprehensive Self-Directed Learning program within our community, culminating in the creation of a manuscript on Adaptive Resiliency.
We will reassess the direction of this initiative around February 2025. Meanwhile, we will continue extending personal invitations to individuals who may be interested in subscribing.

In this critical era of our escalating Climate Emergency, it’s imperative that we acknowledge the severity of the situation, often underestimated by mainstream media. I wholeheartedly encourage all visitors to engage with various newsletters, particularly those like Bill McKibben’s, renowned for their insightful coverage of climate issues.
Staying well-informed demands active pursuit, given the inadequate attention this crisis receives in mainstream outlets. It’s incumbent upon us to delve deeper into the realities of our changing climate. I’ve provided links to aid in this endeavor, with plans to expand this resource to include additional essential sources. Together, let’s equip ourselves with the knowledge necessary to confront the Climate Emergency head-on.
We are currently in Self-Directed Learning (SDL) mode and will be posting at our personal site for now. You will also find more article and other pertinent links there as well. We will return in February 2025.
“The wise person must remember that, while they are a product of the past, they are also architects of the future.” – Herbert Spencer
Our book club won’t kick off until February 2025, and there are several good reasons for this delay. Despite the groundwork laid for the Climate Change Community (LLC/.com) since March 2017, we’re currently in the process of rebuilding our infrastructure and fortifying our foundations.
Prior to the club’s launch, we’re also planning to introduce a unique form of ‘Affiliate Marketing’ that aligns with our goals. This venture aims to empower individuals financially while promoting environmental protection and enhancement for the sake of our children’s future. More details on this initiative will hopefully be available later this summer.
Before diving into club activities, there are two books we must read, one of which will be thoroughly examined using a specific reading strategy (more details on this will be provided within the club). This technique, developed by a professor at Berkeley University in California, enhances comprehension significantly, regardless of the subject matter.
I’m personally not a proponent of speed reading; rather, I prioritize comprehension over simply getting through the material. When we launch the book club, our focus will not solely be on reading and discussing the material, but also on deepening our understanding and applying effective learning strategies to progress smoothly through each book.
Currently, I’m grappling with certain aspects of a book centered on worst-case future scenarios related to our climate emergency. Personally, I’ve always struggled with units of measurement, such as CO2, meters, kilometers, Celsius to Fahrenheit conversions, and other mathematical concepts. To address this, I highly recommend installing apps that facilitate various conversions and calculations, making it easier to comprehend materials that involve different measurement systems or mathematical equations. Of course, your phone’s calculator can also be a handy tool for this purpose.
If you’re interested in joining our book club, which will be by invitation only, please reach out to me via tito@ourclimatehealth.com or catch me during a climate Zoom meeting or training session.
Let’s combat ignorance by committing to lifelong learning as we age, fulfilling our obligation to future generations. After all, we don’t want our children growing up thinking Gatorade is suitable for watering plants (some may appreciate this pun).
“The hallmark of a good deed is its inevitability in hindsight.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
While it’s important to individually strive for a better future, connecting with a climate organization is equally crucial. In fact, the two efforts can complement each other.
Thank you for your understanding.

In this critical era of escalating Climate Emergency, it is imperative that we enhance our awareness beyond what is commonly known. I strongly encourage all visitors to subscribe to several newsletters, particularly Bill McKibben’s, as they offer invaluable insights into the latest climate developments. Mainstream media often falls short in covering these issues adequately.
To truly understand the gravity of the situation, we must make a concerted effort to stay informed. While this may require some effort, it is essential. I hope the provided links will facilitate this process, and over time, they will expand to include additional crucial sources for staying updated on Climate Emergency content.

“The wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future.” – Herbert Spencer
It does not start until February of 2025 for a few good reasons. Although the foundation of Climate Change Community (llc/.com) has been set since March of 2017 we are rebuilding the infrastructure and walls sort-of-speak.
Before opening this club we want to also at the same time open a very unique type of ‘Affiliate Marketing’ venue that will coincide and we are hoping it will be a model for folks to financially empower themselves all the while protecting and improving our earth for our children’s future. More on this later in the summer hopefully.
Then we have to read two books prior to opening this club, one of which will be done in-depth using a specific reading strategy (more on this within the club). Using this technique which was developed by a Berkeley (California) University Professor we will do an SDL on the particular technique itself of which the effects build amazingly strong comprehension on any book and subject read (studied).
I do not believe in speed reading and in fact I think it doesn’t exist at all and what is more important I ponder is comprehension as opposed to just getting it done (reading content with the intent of having said you read it).
So when opening the book club we do not just to open something where club members just come to read and discuss the material read, we want to emphasize grasping knowledge, advanced comprehension with this technique mentioned above and apply guidelines that help cement this understanding and move comfortably to the next book.
One of the books I am currently reading now I am finding some aspects of it very difficult to understand and it is entirely based on the worst case of future scenarios in regard to our shared Climate Emergency (literally).
I have always been terrible with units of measurements, such as CO2, Meters, Kilometers, Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion, and a few other mathematical requirements. That being the case, I strongly suggest installing apps that help with a multitude of conversions so when you read a book or article that expresses different methods of measurements, distances or simply mathematical equations you might not understand you can convert and or solve them easily. Just a suggestion as I have found this to be very helpful (of course you have your phone’s calculator as well).
If you seek early footing into this book club which will be by invite only then let me know via tito@ourclimatehealth.com or when we speak within a climate zoom meeting or at a training session.
Let’s stamp out/or decrease ignorance by continuing to educate ourselves as we grow older for now we owe this obligation to our children and their future. You do not want them growing up thinking you use Gatorade to feed plants (some will understand this pun).
“The mark of a good action is that it appears inevitable in retrospect.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Note that while it is important to individually work towards a better future at the same time, connecting with a climate organization is also crucial now. In fact, one can compliment the other.
Thank you for your understanding.
