Gentlemen, pull up a chair for a minute. This one is for you.

Something new is being prepared inside Climate Tribe Social, and it was built with you in mind. It is called The Men’s Café, and on Sunday, November 29, 2026, it opens its doors to the public, side by side with its companion Space, The Women’s Café.

Before you scroll past, let me be honest about why it exists.

A Hard Truth, Said Kindly

Many of us are struggling more than we let on. The share of American men who say they have no close friends has climbed from 3 percent in 1990 to 15 percent in recent surveys. Fewer of us have someone to call when life gets heavy. Many of us were raised to handle everything alone, and we are discovering that alone is not a strategy. It is a slow leak.

At the same time, women around us are telling us something we need to hear. I have heard it directly from women in my own life, young and older: men need to grow up. Not disappear. Not apologize for existing. Grow up. Show up. Be someone others can count on.

I count myself in that. I am not writing this from a pedestal. I am writing it as a man who still has work to do.

Why This Cannot Wait

Here is where kindness has to make room for seriousness. The Climate and Ecological Emergency is not slowing down. Heat waves, floods, fires, failing harvests and displaced families are no longer future scenarios. They are this decade’s headlines, and they will test every household and every neighborhood.

When those tests arrive, our communities will not need men who are angry at the world, numb to it or hiding from it. They will need men who can stay steady in a crisis, listen to their neighbors, cooperate with people they disagree with, repair what is broken and keep their word. That is what Adaptive Resiliency asks of all of us.

Those qualities are not handed out at birth. They are built through practice, and they are built best with other men walking the same road.

What The Men’s Café Is

The Men’s Café is a brotherhood for men 18 and older who want to grow stronger in body, mind and spirit. Inside, we practice four things:

  • Emotional strength: naming what we feel, handling anger and asking for help before we hit a wall.

  • Clear thinking: checking our sources and refusing to let anyone profit from our anger.

  • Relationship responsibility: sharing the load, apologizing sincerely and keeping our word.

  • Purpose and contribution: choosing something that matters and seeing it through.

We meet in weekly conversations, take on small real-world challenges and support each other between calls. You do not need to be a climate expert. You do not need to have it all together. You only need to be willing to grow.

What It Is Not

Let me be equally clear about this part. The Men’s Café is not a place to complain about women. It is not a place for anyone who believes women exist to serve men. Our founding principle is simple:

Men deserve support and belonging. Women do not owe men service, affection or rehabilitation. Every member is responsible for how he treats other people.

Enjoy your games, your teams and your hobbies. None of that disqualifies anyone. What matters here is how we treat people and whether we follow through.

Opening Day

The Men’s Café and The Women’s Café open to the public together on Sunday, November 29, 2026, the close of the Thanksgiving weekend. After a few days of gratitude, family and full tables, it is a fitting time to ask a simple question: what kind of man do I want to be for the people I am thankful for?

Membership is $20 per year, kept low on purpose so that a tight budget never stands between a man and the chance to grow. Our founding circle is forming now by invitation, and those first members will help shape the culture of the Café from the ground up.

A Word to the Women Reading This

Thank you for your honesty, and for your patience when it has been tested. You should not have to carry the job of raising grown men. The Women’s Café is your own Space, and the two Cafés will come together on a regular schedule for conversations where women and men meet as equals.

Brother, Think It Over

You do not have to decide anything today. Just sit with the question for a moment. If the men in your life, your sons, your nephews, your friends, were watching how you handle hard things, what would they learn?

If the answer makes you a little uncomfortable, good. That is where growth starts. The coffee will be on, and there is a chair with your name on it.
